Field Briefing

Mission

Recent intelligence confirms accelerated Beige expansion throughout the hospitality sector. Enemy forces continue replacing memorable experiences with safe, universally acceptable environments engineered to provoke absolutely no emotional response. Entire neighborhoods have already been converted into spaces described as “timeless,” “elevated,” and “quiet luxury.” Civilian resistance remains low. Many victims report that the results are “actually kind of nice.” Do not be deceived. Your objective is to locate, engage, and eliminate all hostile Beige entities before additional originality is value engineered out of the environment. Successful engagements will restore color, personality, and the dangerous idea that not everyone has to like everything. Failure is acceptable. Compromise is not.

This is a game about something,
by Andrew Alford Creative and Small Parade.

Andrew Alford Creative is radically creative hospitality design.

This is something I say a lot, but just to clarify, my distaste for beige isn't about color. It's about aspirational mediocrity, fear based decision making in hospitality design, and the dumbing down of creativity with the goal of making everyone happy. If you feel the need to comment, please only do so Haiku.
